My Project

I get to teach amazing students. Students who come from extremely diverse backgrounds and families. Students of all ability levels. These students love to learn and love to do their best. Due to Covid, our music department has not been able to put on programs for parents for several years.

Students take their learning to a whole new level when they can share what they have learned on stage.

I am requesting a Portable Tabletop Easel Pad, Camping Toys, instruments, dance scarves and decor for their first music class concert ever! We are presenting our first on stage performance since 2018. These Young 5's, Kindergarten, and First Graders have never been on stage. I would love to provide them with stage decorations to make this experience extra special. I would also love to provide the students with triangle and guiro instruments and tools to play along with their songs and teach the audience some of what they have learned. Our program is called Building Our Musical Foundation. Students will sing songs demonstrating the basic elements of music they have been learning in class.
