Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with students with special needs. They are incredibly creative, kind, and smart. They love to learn new things in fun and engaging ways. We work hard each week to develop their academic skills. In addition to that, we also must work on communication skills, social-emotional skills, self-regulation, interacting with others, developing healthy habits, and fine motor skills.

You can help give my students the opportunity and tools to help them work together and build their sense of community and their social emotional and communication skills.

We are requesting some fun games, arts and crafts supplies, LEGO bricks, and more to help them learn these valuable interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
