Prize levels were based on the number of books read, which kept motivation high all year long. Several students read over 50 books, and most shared that they've read more this year than ever before! Readers were so stoked about their books and prizes! The energy was incredible! Book club was a verifiable success!\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful parts of this project is that each student got to choose four brand-new books to keep for their own personal library. That moment of choice matters. For many of our English language learners and developing readers, and for students from low-income households, these are often the first books they truly own—books they're excited to take home, reread, and share.\r\n\r\nThe small supports you included also make a big difference—storage bins that help students browse easily, simple prizes that celebrate effort, and materials that keep everything running smoothly.
