My Project

My students need books that celebrate neurodiversity, support understanding of linguistic, behavioral and learning differences.

We need stories that uplift us, and help us understand what may be happening in your bodies and brains.

We need materials that help us advocate for our needs using easy to understand visual information. We also need books that celebrate people that look like us and have faced similar challenges and situations.

In our classroom, students learn by actively engaging in materials that are vivid, clear and relatable. We celebrate each others unique differences and learn strategies how to tackle our challenges.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
