My Students

I teach 22 4th grade students in Utah. The pandemic has taken an emotional, mental, and physical toll on children. One way that students can relax and "escape" is through reading.

My students love to read books and listen to read alouds.

I would love to expand our classroom library.

My Project

My class is needing some new books to enjoy, especially during the pandemic. Now that Omicron is here, students are even more stressed and fatigued. Something that helps take their minds off of their struggles is our classroom library. Most of the time, I have to buy books using my own money.

I love providing my class with new and exciting books, but lack of funding can make this difficult; I would love for my class to come and pick a new book from the books I have requested.

I've chosen a variety of chapter books, graphic novels, and nonfiction books to spark my students' imaginations. Thank you for making it possible!
