Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to give my students access to books that spark their curiosity, inspire their imagination, and help them fall in love with reading. Many of my students do not have access to a wide variety of books at home, and a well-stocked classroom library would allow them to explore new genres, discover diverse voices, and build strong reading habits.

A classroom library gives students the freedom to choose what they read, which research shows increases engagement, comprehension, and confidence.

It also provides a safe space where students can escape into stories, learn about the world, and develop empathy for others.

With your support, we can create a library filled with high-interest books for students of all reading levels. These books will be used every day, helping students grow as readers, thinkers, and storytellers. Your generosity will open doors to learning, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading.
