This will give the students a sense of belonging and make them feel like they actually own something when it comes to their sport. Currently we are one of the only teams that do not allow our athletes to put their names on the back of their shirts because they do not own the shirt, the school does. By giving them their own shirts they are going to be able to fit in with the rest of the athletes instead of standing out in the wrong way. When we go to states they also require that the student's name be on the back of the shirt.
