This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my students to access a wider variety of new books on diverse topics in multiple languages. We plan on supporting the literacy of all students in the class by allowing them to read for pleasure on a range of topics. For some that means reading in their home languages.

We want to boost engagement and through the books in this set, we will supplement our curriculum with text sets that allow all students access.

These books are Spanish and English language books. Students will be able to choose from a larger variety of books as they read for pleasure and learn more deeply about our content.
