This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your help this specific manipulatives will give my students the opportunity to discover the world of math that starts with the numbers. I want for them to have the opportunity to enjoy while learning to count and identify the number. My objective is for my PK 3 students to learn to count and identify each number up to 20. My students are full of excitement when they discover something for themselves; I want to create the environment that allows them not only to discover the numbers but to enjoy the process while learning them. Their faces light up when they accomplish something new. I want to be able to guide them during their process of discovering the numbers.
