Students enjoy having the tools to make their art \"pop\" and personalized based on their choices of color and making colorful combinations for their projects. \r\n\r\nWe worked on positive quotes and discussing their figural meaning versus literal; this lesson helps their writing and many pick up on certain quotes that they chose to make an illustration for. Each quote had to have special meaning to the students, so that they could be the illustrator in this activity. They did a wonderful job creating their illustrations and had plenty of Crayola colors to choose from.
