My Project

With adequate supplies for our classroom, my students would be able to participate in engaging, creativity-based projects. Currently, I do not create many activities that require my students to use scissors or glue, because not all of my students have them.

By providing my students with glue and scissors, they have the opportunity to create and maintain interactive notebooks along with other projects to increase achievement in core subjects.

Interactive notebooks are a chance for students to cut and past different graphic organizers, note pages, images, and other foldables. By using interactive notebooks, students are more engaged with the content they are learning. They are able to use the left and right sides of their brain to create a notebook with information that they can use to apply to high rigor tasks. In order to complete these tasks, my students need easy access to adequate materials.
