My Project

A clean and safe learning environment is essential for student success. As we prepare for a new school year, I am requesting support to provide much-needed cleaning and sanitizing supplies for our school. These supplies will help us maintain high standards of cleanliness in the media center, classrooms, shared learning spaces, and high-touch areas throughout the school year.

Our students use shared tables, computers, books, learning materials, technology, door handles, and other common surfaces every day.

Having readily available disinfecting wipes, surface cleaners, glass cleaner, and hand sanitizer allows staff to address high-touch areas regularly and helps promote healthy hygiene habits among students.

Why This Project Matters

Our school serves a diverse elementary population, including many students from families who may face financial challenges. Providing a clean and welcoming school environment is one way we can remove barriers to learning and help every child feel safe and ready to learn.

The requested supplies will help us:

Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

Keep shared learning spaces fresh and welcoming.

Support proper hand hygiene among students and staff.

Maintain clean computer and technology work areas using appropriate products.

Reduce the spread of germs in shared spaces.

Promote student safety and healthy habits.

Ensure that teachers and staff have essential cleaning supplies readily available.

Provide students with a learning environment where they can focus on reading, technology, collaboration, and discovery.

Student Safety Connection

Student safety is our priority. Elementary students interact with many shared materials and surfaces throughout their school day. Regular cleaning and access to hand sanitizer can help reinforce healthy hygiene practices and contribute to a safer school environment.
