My fifth grade science students are tactile kinesthetic learners. The science kits will allow the students to explore the concepts of the fifth grade curriculum. The tactile materials in the science kits will engage the students vestibular and kinesthetic understanding as it applies to dance/sports movement. Students will create dance sequences that exemplify concepts from the unit. When our students experience learning through hands on manipulation and whole body participation it increases their understanding and ability to apply learning to other content areas and real life situations. Students will be able to use observe, analyze, communicate, and collaborate scientific results.

About my class
