My Students

My students come from a high-poverty neighborhood where they all receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are first graders who are very eager to participate in all academic areas of the classroom. Many of our students do not leave our neighborhood and experience what it is outside of our area. So many of our assignments center around our great world. I would love to bring experiences in through literature so that they are familiar with the world they live in. I would also like to be able to have supplies to foster their creativity!

My Project

Please help supply our classroom with necessary art supplies like crayons, scissors and construction paper. We need some construction paper and scissors to help us make great work.

We do not have an art class so I teach art in our lessons.

We are in dire need of crayons. We are also in need for pencil cases to keep our crayons safe from getting lost.

Thanks in advance for considering to help us! The students would be so excited to have more art during the day and these supplies would make it possible!
