Arduino Kits for Engineering

Help me give my students Arduino kits for engineering projects to learn to write code, connect electronic circuits, and work with leading-edge open-source systems.

My Project

My engineering students are learning skills for their futures as leaders in technology. I am working to provide them skills such as coding, robotics, and circuit design. These kits not only provide a great platform for all of those skills, they are open-source and adaptable for a variety of projects.

I have a few of these kits in my classroom now and they are being shared among groups to build everything from sound detection systems, to Bluetooth communication circuits, to Wi-Fi connections.

They are being used in robotics projects, environmental engineering projects, and local community service projects. I would like to continue to encourage learning and building using these tools and to expand their use from my senior classes to my sophomore classes so that I can begin to teach using this industry-standard platform at an even earlier age.

This donation will help me fulfill that idea of bringing this technology to an additional group of students.
