We will use these tools to teach essential engineering skills! Students in any classroom respond better to hands-on learning experiences. In engineering those experiences are measuring, and "playing" with the experimental tools and devices that I have in the classroom. I am hoping to have more tools such as adjustable dial calipers so that I can continue to provide every student with the tools that he or she needs to complete experiments. Especially in the COVID era, it is harder to share tools between students, even those in the same classroom. Students have to be taught how to use tools properly, which sometimes results in those tools being broken during instruction. Having a supply of tools will help when things need to be replaced.
