My Project

This project is going to be a way of broadening the materials that are available to our students not only the ones in the media based classes but throughout the school. We will purchase a new mirrorless digital 35mm camera to advance our media quality and the diversity of materials we use, giving students experience with things they otherwise wouldn’t be able to get on their own. For students to excel they must first learn basics and upgrade their skill sets; the best way to do so is to expose them to more advanced resources! This camera will be used by students in our journalism class to capture memorable moments for our school yearbook, as well as for student photographers to use while covering school events.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
