Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having food on hand throughout the day allows any student who needs a snack to know they can come to my class for a quick pick me up or just a moment to clear their heads. Often students come to school without eating breakfast or without a good dinner to look forward to when they get home.

Food is a universal symbol of support and comfort and everyone needs that once in a while!

I stay to help students with their work after school and often being able to provide a simple snack is the difference between a student staying for help and leaving. I want them to stay for help!!
