This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The classroom carpet is an important learning area of our classroom. The classroom carpet is the center of the classroom. Most of our learning takes place on the carpet. This carpet is new, bright and colorful. Carpet time supports academic and social emotional skills. On the classroom carpet, students will start and end their day. This carpet will help students establish boundaries in finding their own space, and assist with daily routines, and be engaged in their learning. This carpet will provide a welcoming environment for current and future students.
