My Project

My students love to jam out to different variations of the alphabet song. They are now noticing letters and letter sounds everywhere. These items will help them learn letter names and sounds and gain the tools to start reading. Magnet letters and magnet builders will be one of their favorite learning tools as magnets are also a newly found interest. They also love to use tools; the Construct letter kit will give them a fun way to build letters. The letter tracers and playdough mats will work on two skills letter recognition and fine motor.

Literacy is an important life skill; the best way to improve this skill is by singing, talking, playing, and reading as a young child.

During the first 5 years, children's brains are 90% fully developed. Expanding how children interact with letters, words, syllables, and books will deepen connections, leading to an easier progression to the following skills.
