My Project

Many of my ASD/DCD special education science students have auditory and sensory needs that inhibit traditional learning strategies. I am requesting a 3D pen set to promote STEM focused learning strategies in our classroom.

In my ASD/DCD STEM classroom, I strive to provide the students with fun enrichment opportunities that support creativity and visual stimulation while working with technology.

3D pens are a great tool for my students because they help support the expansion of their creativity with STEM activities both independently and with others in class. Over time working with 3D pens, students will develop a creative skill set to do team and independent work to build their STEM skills. These pens will give all students a chance to comprehend information in my STEM lessons using creative and differentiated visual strategies. This will be a fun activity for my students and enhance the environment in my science classroom.

In addition to science class, the 3D pens will provide a creative opportunity for a number of other subject areas in our ASD/DCD program. I want to give all of my students a chance to learn STEM in class using fun and exciting learning strategies.
