Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their curiosity, energy, and excitement for learning. My first graders come to school each day eager to explore new topics, share their ideas, and grow as readers and thinkers. They take pride in their work and are beginning to develop independence, but they still need the right tools to help them stay organized and successful.

The binders will give each student a special place to keep their monthly worksheets and important learning materials.

This will help them build responsibility and allow them to easily revisit skills we’ve practiced throughout the year. The 15 quart-size bins will be used to organize our theme books and reading buddy activities, making it easy for students to access materials during centers and independent work time.

With these resources, my students will spend less time searching for materials and more time engaged in meaningful learning. An organized classroom helps them feel confident, capable, and ready to learn each day.
