Our little learners have had so much fun learning and playing with all of the new materials for the block center. It was so exciting when we opened all of the boxes! The students couldn't believe how lucky we were to get all of these block toys to play with. It is amazing to see how the students explore, plan and create so many cool structures as they share and take turns with all of the materials. One student in particular often says, \"This is the best day ever\" whenever he gets to play in the block area. Everyone loves the new blocks, and they often use multiple different block materials to make things. The students have designed ramps at different levels to see how fast and how far balls. cars, or tucks can go. They are having so much fun trying over and over again. They are adding houses and railings to make sure that we don't lose the balls that roll down the ramps. The new block materials have created construction workers, architects, and explorers in our 4K class. The students are engaged as they play and they are developing great friendship and teamwork skills. Thank you once again for your generous donation to my 4K students- we are all loving the new block materials. \r\n We are going to create a class book of all of our cool creations in the future!","fullyFundedDate":1768940664358,"projectUrl":"project/help-build-the-future-sponsoring-stem-i/9880849/","projectTitle":"Help Build the Future: Sponsoring STEM in the Block Center!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Borre","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9470920"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_38703","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":341,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":85,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":87.5,"schoolId":38703,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodside Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodside Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/wisconsin-rapids-public-schools/woodside-elementary-school/38703"}
