The new smiley face rug has made a huge difference during story time. Each student now has their own clearly defined space, which helps with personal boundaries, focus, and classroom management. It has turned our read-aloud time into something special, where students feel included and comfortable. The curtains have also made a big impact by softening the room and covering our door, which was previously a distraction. The space now feels calmer, more welcoming, and better suited for learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate. They were especially drawn to the bright colors, cozy seating options, and the reading canopy. The stools and stuffed animals have made independent reading time something they truly look forward to. Students love choosing a comfortable spot, grabbing a book, and settling in. It has created a sense of ownership and joy around reading that wasn't there before. Even students who were previously reluctant readers are now more eager to participate.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue to build on this momentum by incorporating more small group reading and independent reading opportunities in our new space. Students are already beginning to engage more deeply with books, and we are working on building stamina, comprehension, and a love of reading. This library transformation has not only improved the physical space, but it has also positively impacted student behavior, engagement, and enthusiasm for learning. Thank you for helping create a library where students feel happy, comfortable, and inspired every day.","fullyFundedDate":1767710662073,"projectUrl":"project/we-love-our-library/9701071/","projectTitle":"We Love Our Library!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Curry","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10250013_orig.jpg?crop=1200,1200,x0,y400&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757440045967","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10250013"},{"teacherId":9108099,"projectId":9688836,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for these wonderful resources that you have provided to my students to use during speech therapy sessions.
