Some of my kids wore the hats everyday the rest of the school year too! At the end of the school year, our school was closing as an Elementary School and was being refurbished into a Pre-K Center. This means all of our current students were being dispersed to three other school near by. We anted to have an end of the year/closing school celebration for everyone. This celebration would show the kids how much we loved and cared for them, as well as, how much we were going to miss them. The prizes in this project went toward making this celebration a huge success. Each grade level had a carnival game the families could walk around to play and win prizes. I purposely put this book in this project because he is a person my kids talked about all year. When they saw his book arrive they were so excited and asked me to read it immediately. They loved learning about his life and how he became a famous soccer player. The robot supported students in following one- and two-step directions, which is such an important developmental milestone in Pre-K. I know the kids are excited for that.
