Your kindness has made such a meaningful impact on my students, and I am truly grateful for your support. The students were absolutely overjoyed as the books began to arrive! They couldn't wait to explore them, and many were already telling me where they thought the new books should go in our classroom library. Seeing their excitement was such a special moment.\r\n\r\nOur classroom previously had only a limited selection of nonfiction books, so these new additions opened up a whole new world of learning for my first graders! We were especially fortunate to have some wonderful fifth-grade students visit our classroom on the day all of the books arrived. They spent time reading the new books aloud to my students, making the experience even more memorable.\r\n\r\nSome of the biggest favorites were the soccer books, especially those featuring Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. They sparked so many enthusiastic conversations in our classroom, particularly at the beginning of the World Cup! The weather and space books quickly became classroom favorites as well. Each morning, I would see students eagerly grabbing the nonfiction books to read together before the school day began. Even more exciting, these books inspired many of them to start checking out additional nonfiction books from our school library. Watching my young learners discover new interests and develop a genuine love for reading and learning has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students now have access to engaging books that inspire curiosity, encourage meaningful conversations, and foster a lifelong love of reading. Thank you for helping make our classroom a place where students can explore their interests and grow as readers.","fullyFundedDate":1773901631778,"projectUrl":"project/growing-readers-real-stories/10044792/","projectTitle":"Growing Readers, Real Stories","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Recinos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6157751_orig.jpg?crop=349,349,x110,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768932865341","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6157751"},{"teacherId":6157751,"projectId":9452527,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations. The headphones and reading area rug you helped provide have made a tremendous difference in my 4th grade classroom.\r\n\r\nThe headphones helped students who did not have any headphones. For many of my students, especially those who struggle with distractions or have learning differences, this truly helped them zone into what they were working on.\r\n\r\nThe reading rug transformed a corner of our classroom into a cozy, welcoming space. It's become a favorite spot for students to read, participate in small-group activities, or sit at and play uno during indoor recess. Having a designated, comfortable area for reading has helped foster a love for books and has encouraged more students to choose reading during their choice time.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just supply materials—it helped create an environment where students feel safe, focused, and excited to learn.
