Our students were overjoyed to see our revamped classroom library. Our library is now filled with classroom favorites, new books that students were excited to get their hands on, and a bin full of stuffed animals. \r\n\r\nOur classroom library is used as a center rotation during our structured literacy block. Once a week, students get a chance to pull out books from our classroom library, during this center rotation, and read or browse our library books with a peer or stuffed animal.\r\n\r\nOur students have been working hard on recognizing simple sight words and sounding out three letter words.
