You should have seen my first graders' faces when the boxes arrived—they were convinced it was a massive delivery of birthday presents. The second we slid them onto the backs of their chairs, the whole vibe of the room changed. The kids were practically beaming with pride over having their very own \"office space\" attached right to their seats.\r\n\r\nThese chair pockets have been a total game-changer for our daily routines. If you know six-year-olds, you know supply time can quickly turn into pure chaos—pencils rolling across the tile, folders mysteriously disappearing, and endless trips back and forth to supply bins. Now, everything they need for reading and math is tucked neatly right behind them. They can grab their workbooks in two seconds flat, which cuts down on transition time and leaves us with way more room for actual learning.\r\n\r\nGiving first graders this kind of independence and ownership over their space is huge for their confidence, and your generosity made that happen. Thank you so much for supporting our little classroom and making our school days run so much smoother!","fullyFundedDate":1787147807782,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-chair-pockets/10450118/","projectTitle":"Classroom Chair Pockets","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roberts","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10577564"},{"teacherId":5641594,"projectId":10077410,"letterContent":"Thank you again for the donation that helped purchase supplies for my class. We are have already started using them. The highlighters and post-its are being used daily. My students highlight their answers and evidence during our reading lessons. They are getting so good at it on an independent level. \r\n\r\nAs a reward for doing their nightly reading, students place a post-it on our class BINGO board for prizes. They love when their number is called after the board is covered. It's a great way to motivate my students to read independently. \r\n\r\nNext month, we will have a glow day. With blacklights. The neon tape will help me decorate and create activblacklists. My room for my students to practice their math skills. The play money is helping us visualize regrouping when we add and subtract 3-digit numbers.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for your generous donation. It is so important for the students to have a place to meet, work and play together. I have been using the same rug for many years. The kids were noticing that it was becoming thread-bare. \r\nThis new rug has brightened up my classroom and has given the students a clean, spacious and fun place to work and learn.\r\nWhen I found out that my rug was fully funded, I told my students that we would be getting a new rug. They were so excited and very anxious for it to come. The looks on their faces was priceless! They were so happy!
