They love being able to interact with the text and see their thinking displayed for the whole group. I have especially noticed how much more willing some of my quieter readers are to participate when they can come up to the screen, point to evidence, annotate a passage, or share their thinking with the group. The screen has also made fluency practice more engaging because students can follow along together, hear fluent reading, practice passages, and immediately discuss what they noticed.
