My students come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures. We have a unique school boundary where most students come to school on buses. They do not often have the opportunity to learn about each other's differences and traditions outside of the classroom. Providing my students with a variety of books about different topics will help to enhance their educational experience by helping them to understand each other better. This will promote classroom unity and will create a safe and inviting learning environment. Each child deserves to feel welcome and included in any classroom.
