The Chromebooks will be used in both whole group and center based activities. Students will be able to work on foundational skills taught in Kindergarten and will strengthen their knowledge of these skills. So many students are unable to work on this at home due to COVID-19. Parents are not able to afford computers and other devices. Therefore, students can have the opportunity to work on these devices at school and help them with these foundational needs and skills. The social-emotional and academic learning in light of COVID-19 has been extremely hard on Kindergarten students. COVID is all they know in their world. They haven't been in school long enough to not know COVID. These students need to have resources in the classroom to help them to learn and continue growth through this pandemic and through all their remaining years of school.
