So, to prevent damage to their chromebook while in transit from/to school I have submitted several Donors Choose projects to fund giving each student a padded zippered protective chromebook sleeve. Initially, there was some skepticism regarding the effectiveness of the new materials we were using, but you should have seen their excitement when I unveiled the glowing room! \r\n\r\nEach grade level produced a distinctive piece for our Día de los Muertos exhibit. Among the creations were alebrijes (spirit animals), 3D birds, oversized calaveras (sugar skulls), Tim Burton-inspired portraits, paper ring skeletons, posable yoga skeletons, and animal masks. Every wall was transformed into a vibrant, glowing display.\r\n\r\nI carefully selected various glow-in-the-dark mediums for each project to ensure a cohesive approach rather than allowing an unrestricted use of supplies. The students particularly enjoyed working with glow-in-the-dark streamers to add texture, and glow-in-the-dark yarn to depict motion in their skeletons.
