Many of my students are behind in their learning due to the impacts of Covid 19. The online interventions that students use within our classroom, are tailored to each student's individual needs, and therefore need to be kept at a volume which only they can hear. Having a classroom of Chromebooks going off all at once is distracting and can cause delays in the student's progress. With the rising number of Covid cases due to the Omicron variant, many of my students are being quarantined to do online work at home. With siblings running around, parents working, and pets causing distractions, these headphones will give my students access to a distraction free environment, thus increasing the quality of their at home learning. Students during this time are also in need of more mental breaks than ever before. Headphones will allow my students to step away from the noise to reset their brains and get ready to work again.
