Sometimes handwriting is not the most fun for students to have to work on. With chrombooks becoming bigger and bigger students aren't getting as much practice as they should and are now being less and less able to even read cursive. \r\n\r\nWith these pens the students should have a great time learning cursive as an art form and make it their own. For students who really love it, I can teach them how to use water colors to create their own ink to put in their pen. Cross stitch is such a fun activity to teach kids because they can choose any project that they want to. With the beginner kits I can teach them the basics and then let their creativity soar. After the beginner kit they can then pic their own pictures and use the trace board to set their patterns to fabric. \r\n\r\nI plan on using these for my in class activity and then for the students who are able to stay after school we will do bigger projects. These whiteboards have helped them organize numbers correctly and solve division and multiplication problems using the standard algorithm with much more confidence and accuracy.\r\n\r\nStudents also use the headphones daily to listen to \"My Path\" math lessons they complete to close learning gaps. The headphones are neatly stored in the organizer you kindly donated, which has helped keep our materials accessible and orderly.\r\n\r\nAs part of our Spanish Dual Immersion program, students regularly engage in structured discussions about real-life topics.
