My advisory students have been busy playing Jenga, Uno, and Skipbo almost daily together. These are seniors in high school and it is so fun to watch them bond while playing games. \r\n\r\nWe are also very grateful for the donation of the bookshelf to display books and activities for students to look at and do during extra time in class. When books can only be seen by the spine, they are not as likely to be picked up versus when someone can see the front cover. The new verb-ending posters, markers, organizer baskets, mechanical pencils, magnetic boards, and Spanish games have already made a real difference in our daily learning environment.\r\n\r\nMy students and I are using these resources in meaningful, hands-on ways. The posters have become our go-to reference during conjugation practice, especially during small-group activities where students coach each other through -ar, -er, and -ir endings. The Spanish games have turned our review days into fun and energetic moments. The magnetic boards have become my go-to tool for displaying objectives, vocabulary, and quick reminders that keep students focused. The new baskets have helped us finally organize materials in a way that makes transitions smoother, and many of the smaller supplies have become well-loved prizes that motivate students and still look great after weeks of use.\r\n\r\nThese materials will continue to support my students' learning in many ways. My students are able to have a place to go when they are overstimulated or stressed. We are using the fluffy beanbag chair and a \"reading corner\" and the students feel like it's a reward now to read books and sit in the fluffy chair. \r\nSince implementing the \"calming corner\" and having tools to teach about emotions and regulating our feelings and actions many of my students have been able to better regulate their emotions.
