These calculators have sensory capabilities that can measure pH, temperature, and absorbance. With only 3 calculators we could really do a lot in the classroom to further STEM objectives. We also have a student population that does not have ready access to nicer graphing calculators. Many times before an ACT examination or a students math test I have lent out my personal calculators to students who simply cannot afford them. It would be wonderful to have more equipment that I could also lend to students. It would be a wonderful to support the children of military service men and women by providing them with a graphing calculator to use in a chemistry classroom.
