I used the new paper storage to sort paper into colors. Each student was able to choose a color for their personal sketchbook covers. My 6th graders also used our new brushes to practice some new watercolor techniques. The paint markers are going to be exciting to use because they aren't a common supply in an elementary classroom. We do have an upcoming project where we will use the paint markers to write and draw on black paper. It is going to look great! And the tagboard is a great resource for upcoming projects where we need a more heavyweight paper.\r\nNow that we are two months into school, my new classroom feels more complete. These resources have made a real difference in their learning environment, helping to create a more engaging and supportive learning environment for my students. As someone who is still working toward my graduate degree, budgeting for extra classroom needs can be quite challenging. Every bit of support helps bridge that gap and allows me to give my students more opportunities to thrive. Your support not only eased a financial burden but also reminded me that there are people who truly care about education and the success of future generations.\r\nWith the help of these items I've been able to read books to students to help them get the information both by listening and by seeing photos. I've been able to help students role-play through the Sticky Situation cards, to expand their knowledge by putting it into practice.
