As we read these empowering read alouds, such as Flight School and Perfect Square, my students will gain the confidence and motivation to achieve their reading goals this year. They will make connections to these books as we encounter things that they have continually struggled with. These books will give them the opportunity to believe in themselves! As these books come alive in my class, we will refer to them daily as we face challenges in my class. Since my Literacy class will also be with me in the afternoon, we will incorporate these books into our Social Studies units as well. These books will not only benefit our class, but give all of us life learning lessons to keep going and not give up!

About my class
