My students are struggling with reading and writing. These are essential skills that every student needs. Right now only five percent of my students can read CVC words. Phonemic instruction is an essential skill in developing fluent readers. The requested manipulates will be used to create a hands-on approach to this learning. They will improve their reading skills and with repetition it will help their writing. The students will take apart, replace, and segment words counters, poppers, springs, and stampers. Giving this knowledge and opportunity for a better future.
