The students love them so much. My favorite part is giving our students with disabilities access to well known children's books with minimal worries of tearing. Our students love the stories and they love that the pages in the board books are easier to turn for them than paper. Some of our students struggle with their fine motor skills, and these books are just what they need. They are able to independently look at books they love, and the books are durable enough to endure daily use. Our class library definitely feels more complete because of your wonderful donation. My students have thoroughly enjoyed reading them, and have been more motivated to read. I have seen so much more confidence in their reading!\r\n\r\nAt my school, we do a beginning of the year test to see where students are at in reading. We just completed our middle of the year testing, and every single one of my students made progress. Some made significant progress, to the point that they went from well below benchmark to grade level. I teach resource, so it's extremely exciting to know these students are getting back to reading at grade level. I have the absolute best students in the world, and as a teacher I want to provide them the best education possible.\r\n\r\nI have noticed that when kids learn to love reading, their reading takes off!
