To celebrate their comprehension work, they brought their imagination into the physical world by modeling and printing their own customized \"creepy carrots.\"\r\n\r\nMath & Geometry: During our geometry unit, we printed physical nets of 3D shapes, giving students a hands-on way to explore spatial reasoning and surface area.\r\n\r\nBeyond our core subjects, this printer has helped build a positive, joyful classroom culture. I have been able to design and print special birthday gifts and customized pencil toppers for my students, making them feel celebrated and excited to come to school every day.\r\n\r\nYou didn't just give us a piece of equipment—you gave my students the chance to see their ideas move from screen to hands, sparking a real passion for design, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. They all got so excited and jumped up and down. We used the phonics clamps and magnet letters right away and they thought it was so fun! In that activity a variety of students matched uppercase and lowercase or spelled basic cvc words. I also put up our phonics wall and began referring to it immediately. \r\n\r\nWe used the scales in math and weighed different things in the classroom to find things that weigh more and less.
