From the moment the materials arrived, my students were excited and eager to learn. Seeing their faces light up as they explored new supplies was a reminder of how important it is for students to feel prepared and confident each day. Because of your generosity, my students now have consistent access to the tools they need, which has allowed us to maximize our instructional time and stay focused on learning rather than worrying about missing materials.\r\n\r\nWe have already begun using these resources in our daily lessons, especially during our phonics and writing blocks. Students are actively engaged in hands-on activities such as tracing letters, building words, and completing interactive assignments that support their literacy development. One special moment that stood out was during small group instruction, when students were able to independently use their supplies to practice skills we had learned together. Their confidence and independence have grown, and they are taking more ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these materials will continue to support our classroom goals, particularly in strengthening reading and writing skills. We will be using them during small group instruction, literacy workstations, and independent practice to reinforce key concepts. Your generosity has not only provided essential resources but has also created an environment where students feel equipped and excited to learn every day. The new books from Readers Today, Leaders Tomorrow! have allowed my students to experience reading as more than just an assignment—it has become an adventure and a shared joy. We've been using these texts to practice key literacy skills such as predicting, making inferences, identifying main ideas, and exploring characters' motivations. The variety of genres—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and biographies—has also helped us discuss text features, author's purpose, and vocabulary in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom now looks vibrant and interactive. Students gather in small groups to read aloud, practice fluency, and share \"thinking tracks\" on sticky notes to show how their ideas change as they read. During independent reading, you can hear soft whispers of excitement as students make connections between what they're reading and their own lives. Our reading corner has become one of the busiest—and happiest—spots in the room.\r\n\r\nSome students who were once hesitant readers are now the first to grab a book from the new collection. One of my students, who used to shy away from reading aloud, proudly volunteered to read an entire page from her new favorite story during our read-aloud time. Others have been inspired to write their own stories and share them with classmates.
