Your thoughtful contribution of balls, footballs, crawl tunnels, lights, and a scooter stand has made a remarkable difference in our PE program and in the learning experiences of our students.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our scholars now have access to engaging, hands-on activities that promote not only physical fitness but also teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence. The new equipment has allowed us to design more interactive and inclusive lessons that reach students of all skill levels. The crawl tunnels have been especially impactful in helping our younger students develop coordination and spatial awareness, while the footballs and other game balls have encouraged collaboration and sportsmanship among our older grades.\r\n\r\nWith the lights and scooter stand, we've also been able to improve organization and expand our activities safely and efficiently—making the most of every minute of PE instruction. These improvements have elevated the quality of our program, allowing me to focus more on skill development, creativity, and cooperative learning rather than setup and equipment limitations.\r\n\r\nThank you, Neubauer family and the Schoen Foundation. Your generosity has truly enhanced our ability to teach lifelong fitness skills in a fun and motivating environment. You have not only provided materials you've also given our students opportunities to grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to one another through play.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for believing in our mission and investing in the health and happiness of our students. Your partnership and generosity are deeply appreciated by our entire school community.","fullyFundedDate":1757283350395,"projectUrl":"project/sports-equipment-in-need/9682122/","projectTitle":"Sports Equipment in Need","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Nunn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/coachnunn"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_26296","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":271,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":84,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":27,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":57,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.9,"schoolId":26296,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wayside Eden Park Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wayside Eden Park Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/texas-department-of-education/eden-park-academy/26296"}
