Right now our class is full of charts that provide scholars with reminders of their lessons and opportunities for growth mindset. We are running out of wall-space and turning to the ceiling to hang our beautiful learning experiences. These charts have allowed my scholars to continually improve on their scores and moreover, their true knowledge of the material. In addition, I am adding even more hands on activities with our reading through getting scholars active in the charts and whiteboards. I want scholars to start making their own charts and be able to hold up their responses to how they connect with the texts. This is important so each scholar can SEE and hear how others are relating to the story and world around them.
