One of those impacts is the joy of reading. Not just any kind of reading but reading for enjoyment. They truly believe that all thy are doing is reading for fun, but that is not the fact.\r\nMy students have had the opportunity to practice their reading fluency while reading their new books. We read them together, out loud, and even silently. My students enjoy being able to log their reading and track their minutes. My students are also learning many reading strategies as they read. For example, they have learned about character traits, figurative language, point of view, and so many others.\r\nI just want to say thank you for the opportunity that you provided my students with the enjoyment and motivation of reading.
