The books I have selected are books that my students have showed interest in before, and will now be able to enjoy throughout out the school day or at home. With a classroom library like this one, my students will be able to pick a book of their choice, be transported into a different world, and experience new adventures. By donating to my classroom library, my students will become friends with a talking pig and spider, solve mysteries with the best kid detectives, travel to the ends of earth, and so much more! Reading is essential to the academic success of all of my students. Their excitement and motivation to read challenges me to give them more options. Since many of my students come from low-income families, they do not have the same opportunities that other students their age do. Reading helps fill that gap and I would love for them to be able to grow and live in a world full of adventure.
