These resources have already made a difference in the way our students experience science. We recently used the carts to investigate motion and create motion graphs. Students were able to watch the data change as the carts moved, helping them connect the physical motion they observed with the graphs they were analyzing. This hands-on experience made an abstract concept much easier for them to understand.\r\n\r\nOur students were immediately impressed when they saw the carts and learned what the technology could do. They were excited to have access to equipment that allowed them to collect real-time data and see their experiments represented visually. Their excitement and curiosity turned the activity into an opportunity for them to take a more active role in their learning.\r\n\r\nWe are looking forward to continuing to use the carts throughout our current physics unit. Next, students will use them to investigate the relationship between force and acceleration. By changing the force acting on the carts and observing the resulting acceleration, students will be able to see this important physics relationship for themselves. Our students have already begun using them to explore motion and create motion graphs.
