Our school is an at-risk school due to 98% of our students coming from low-income families. In my science classes, equipment is very expense so that labs cannot all be done in class. As a result, we use many online simulations to perform data collection, experiments and labs that we would not be otherwise able to complete in the classroom. Power strips will allow us to connect all of our computers so that students can access these online simulations. Students also use computers for online educational and other student centered websites.
