Because of your generosity, my students now have hands on STEM materials that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem solving every single day. When the materials first arrived, their eyes lit up with excitement. They could not wait to explore, build, test ideas, and figure things out together. Watching them work through challenges, collaborate with friends, and celebrate when something works has been such a joy to see.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite experiences was planting seeds and watching them grow. The students were so invested in the process. Every morning they came into the classroom and immediately grabbed their journals to record data about their plants and observe the growth. They watched closely as tiny sprouts began to appear and were so proud of their discoveries. It truly helped them feel like real scientists making observations and learning how things grow.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is full of excitement, discovery, and learning through hands on exploration. My students are building confidence as thinkers, problem solvers, and little scientists. The materials from this project will continue to be used with future classes, giving many more students the chance to explore, experiment, and experience the joy of learning. Thank you for investing in my students and making such a meaningful difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1766007179178,"projectUrl":"project/tiny-hands-big-experiments-a-kindergar/9891156/","projectTitle":"Tiny Hands, Big Experiments: A Kindergarten STEM Adventure","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stevens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9174575_orig.jpg?crop=1027,1027,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762916248388","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9174575"},{"teacherId":9901481,"projectId":9121856,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous contribution, our PE program has been transformed into a space where students feel both engaged and supported. The emotional plush toys and fidget sensory tools have helped students identify and manage their emotions, giving them a calming outlet when they feel overwhelmed. I have seen students who were previously anxious or distracted participate more confidently in class activities, and their ability to self-regulate has improved noticeably.\r\n\r\nThe exercise dice and spot markers have made our physical activities more interactive and exciting. Students are more motivated to move, practice teamwork, and try new exercises, which has positively impacted their overall fitness and participation levels. The human body puzzle has sparked curiosity about health and anatomy, encouraging students to ask questions and make connections between movement and their own bodies.\r\n\r\nBrowndages skin-tone bandages and first aid kits have helped create an inclusive environment where every student feels seen and cared for. When minor injuries happen, students respond with calm confidence, knowing they have the proper resources. Mini composition notebooks and dry-erase boards have given students tools to track their goals and reflect on their growth, fostering responsibility, focus, and self-awareness.\r\n\r\nOverall, these resources have made a measurable difference in my students' physical, emotional, and social development. Many of them do not have access to such tools at home, and seeing their excitement and engagement during PE has been incredibly rewarding. Your support has allowed us to create a gym where every child can feel safe, included, and motivated to learn—both in body and in mind.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us build a space where students thrive.
