When students need to listen to passages, complete online lessons, or conduct research, they can focus without distractions. This has increased focus, reduced off-task behavior, and allowed students to work at their own pace with confidence.\r\n\r\nThe wobble stools have quickly become a classroom favorite. My students absolutely love using them during lessons. They provide a safe and appropriate way for students to move while learning, which is especially important during longer instructional blocks. The stools allow students to wiggle and shift without becoming disruptive, helping them stay engaged and attentive. I have already noticed improved participation and sustained focus during instruction.\r\n\r\nThe playground balls have also had a powerful impact. Many of the titles include multi-cultural topics that are covered in our reading classroom. These books will serve as an extension for student learning about these topics. For example, we have a unit about Early American Civilizations where we learn about Aztec, Mayan, and Incan civilizations. A few of the books that you provided for our classroom include myths and legends from these civilizations. \r\n\r\nOther books included are titles such as \"Dog Man\" and \"Goosebumps\". Books such as these are very sought after in my 5th grade classroom. I really believe that students who have a choice when picking independent reading books that are appealing to them will continue to nurture their love for reading as the years go by. In my class, students are eager to finish their assignments so that they can get free time to read their choice of books. \r\n\r\nI have also noticed that the students who only speak Spanish have enjoyed the bilingual books that arrived.
